Creed

In this competition, participants are required to memorize the FFA Creed, consisting of five powerful paragraphs, and demonstrate their understanding by answering three questions related to its meaning and principles.

Impromtu

Draw three questions, take 30 seconds to pick your question, one minute to think about your answer and give and answer that lasts about one to three minutes!

Extemporaneous

Draw three questions, take thirty seconds to choose the one you want, and then spend thirty minutes crafting a six-minute speech.

Job Interview

Get ready for a job interview with an agricultural company.

CREED SPEAKING

Creed competition is for freshman only. In creed competition, you memorize the entire FFA Creed. The creed explains who we are and what we stand for as an organization. In the competition, you will say the creed as best you can from memory and then answer three questions about the creed. If you would like to join, please let Mrs. Maciel know.

IMPROMPTU SPEAKING

Impromptu speaking is for 10th- 12th graders. This tests your knowledge about agriculture and your ability to think on your feet. In the competition, you will draw three questions, take a 30 seconds to decide, a minute to think of your answer, and respond to the question in one to three minutes.

EXTEMPORANEOUS SPEAKING

Extemporaneous or Extemp speaking is for 10th-12th graders. You pick 12 topics and choose 3. You then have 30 minutes to write a 6-minute speech.

Prepared Speaking is for 10th- to 12th-grade students. You prepare, write, and memorize a 6-minute speech.

JOB INTERVIEW

Job interview is for 10th-12th graders. You prepare for a job interview for an agricultural company. You prepare a resume and a cover letter and everything else that comes with a job interview.
